Forming the band Kidnap

In 1989, Sam decided to move to Jakarta and met with Pay Siburian, guitarist BIP which was then strengthened Slank. Through Pay, Sam went inside the circle Gang Potlot and then strengthen the group Kidnap. Together Kidnap, Anang album spawned Katrina in 1993.

Taking a solo path

After his release from Kidnap, Anang decided to menempuha solo lines and produced the album, including "Biarkanlah", "Lepas", "Melayang" and "Tania". Together with his wife, Krisdayanti, Anang pulled out the album "Berartinya Dirimu", "Kasih", "Buah Hati" and "Makin Aku Cinta".

Krisdayanti (born March 24, 1975 in Malang, East Java) is the first Asia Bagus Grand Champion from Indonesia.She then been dubbed as Asia's Nightingale.The first recording that she did was when she was just a 9-year-old girl. For that, she received Rp 15,000 for dubbing the Megaloman soundtrack. Her next album was Burung-Burung Malam. She recorded it at the age of 12. However, her album did not do well.

During her high-school days, she participated in many singing competitions and modeling pageants. In 1991, she became a finalist in Gadis Sampul, a cover girl contest. It was also during that period she met James Sundah and recorded two songs for him. With that, she began to receive many invitations to sing and model.

It was Youngki Suwarno who brought Krisdayanti to an Asia Bagus audition. There, she felt inferior because of her appearance. The other contestants were decked in glittering show dresses whereas she was simply dressed in jeans and T-shirt.

After her winning, she became a star instantly. With eight albums to her credit and a few singles, she has reached superstardom. She is not only known in her country but around the Southeast Asian region as well. She has two children with her former husband, Anang Hermansyah. They divorced after Krisdayanti's multiple extra-marital affairs.

Rihanna's "Rated R" Album - Released on November 20, 2009

Rated R is the fourth upcoming studio album by Bajan R&B singer Rihanna set to be released November 23, 2009. The album's first single, "Russian Roulette", written by Ne-Yo and Rihanna, was released on October 20, 2009.

The album is scheduled to be released November 23, 2009 in North America and United Kingdom. On October 15, 2009, Rihanna released a statement along with a picture on her official websites saying: "The Wait is Ova. Nov 23 09". The picture with the brief note showed a metallic 'R'. Later on in the week, an uncommented countdown clock on Rihanna's website appeared, the first single from the album was released October 20, 2009. Rihanna is set to perform during a three-night preview voyage on the Oasis of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship, on November 19, 2009. She will also perform at the 2009 American Music Awards, the day before the album is released, on November 22, 2009.

On November 16, 2009, a week before of the release of Rated R, Rihanna performed at the Brixton Academy in London. She promoted her upcoming album by singing 3 new tracks and revamping old hits like Take A Bow, Disturbia and Umbrella , giving them an edgier, rockier feel. The event was also in aid of Nokia X6 and was streamed live online on the Nokia website.

"Russian Roulette", the first single, was released on November 3, 2009 in the United States, and November 23, 2009 in United Kingdom. "Russian Roulette" debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number one-hundred. So far, after three weeks on the chart it has reached number 9 - giving Rihanna her twelfth top 10 single of her career. The song has also reached inside the top ten on 8 other charts including gaining her first number one on the Norwegian Singles Chart for the song. The music video was released on Friday, November 13, 2009.

"Hard", the second single, was released on November 10, 2009 in the United States via Urban and Rhythmic radio. The song features Young Jeezy, and was sent to Hot 97 by Def Jam on November 2, 2009. The single cover was released on November 10, 2009. The video has yet to be shot. It has so far reached number 41 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop songs without physically being released.

"Wait Your Turn", will be released as the third single. The writer of the song originally said that the song had been chosen to be the second single, due for release before the album. Eventually, however, the label chose "Hard" as the second single instead. Rihanna was spotted filming the music video for the song on October 16, 2009. The video was released on Rihanna's website on November 3, 2009, before the "Russian Roulette" video premiere. The official single cover was released on November 7, 2009 featuring Rihanna partially nude as on "Russian Roulette" and "Hard". The video has started to receive airplay on UK music channels in the week starting 8 November. It was confirmed on BBC Radio 1 that it would be released as the second single in the UK in early 2010.

Who is not familiar with Pongki Barata (vocalist Sam Milby), Baim (ex-vocalist of Ada Band), Nugie and Aryo Wahab. Those proved vocalist-singer have reliable to form a new band called 'The Dance Company'.

Since the debut mini album, a few months ago, the name of The Dance Company (TDC) directly echoed everywhere. Their debut single 'Papa Rock n Roll' was immediately sold.

The band was formed starting from the fourth vocalist fad in the events during the summit meeting of Global Warming in 2007. They eventually formed a band idealistic as The Dance Company.

Automatically their positions are no longer all be a vocalist. Now the band singer's position is Ariyo Wahab, Pongki on bass, Nugie on drums and Baim on guitar.

In 2009, The Dance Company released their debut single with the title 'Papa Rock & Roll'. The Dance Company hope that their music would immediately be accepted by society and become a new idol. Recordings at Abbey Road, London is one of their great expectations.

Different of bands did not seem exciting without any changes. It was the personnel change their popular names. All four were wearing their nicknames to exist. Nugie called Embot , Baim called Bebe, Pongki called Wega and Ariyo called Riyo.

ST12 formally established on January 20, 2005, although its members have long been in the music world. Previously, it had four personnel know each other. Entering the holy month of Ramadan 2009, the music group "Ungu Band" launch mini religion album entitled "Love Supreme" with hits single "Maha Besar" at the Orphanage Darul Aitam Jakarta, Indonesia, Friday afternoon.

Pasha, the vocalist, states, in this time of Ramadan Purple committed to sharing with others through the provision of social action programs "Basuh" (Help the love of 'Purple').

GIGI Band is an Indonesian pop-rock band led by founder, Armand Maulana, and songwriter Dewa Budjana. Formed in March 1994, the band has released fifteen studio albums. The name "GIGI" (teeth) itself is named after the laugh members of the group had after the name "Orang Utan" nearly was decided as the name of the band.

Bunga Citra Lestari is an actress and pop singer from Indonesia. She was born on March 22nd, 1983 in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Indonesia. BCL started her career on television as a drama actress. The TV series that she has played were ABG, Senandung Masa Puber, Kala Cinta Menggoda, Penjaga Hati, and others. She later moved on as a singer and as a film actress.

Bunga started her music career in 2004 on a collaboration with PAS Band. She also recorded a single entitled "Saat Kau Pergi" for a soundtrack-album for film Dealova in 2005. Her debut album Cinta Pertama was released in 2006 with the hits singles, "Cinta Pertama" and "Aku Tak Mau Sendiri". Her first album was success and sold out 75,000 copies on the first week in Indonesia. This album raised up her name as a famous singer. She also starred her first film with the same title with her album, Cinta Pertama. This film also got then same success with her first studio album.

In 2007, Bunga starred her second film entitled Kangen. The soundtrack of this film was also taken from Bunga's first album, titled "Mengapa Harus Terjadi". At the end of 2007, she did a duet with Indonesian singer, Ari Lasso in a single titled "Aku dan Dirimu". From her collaboration with Ari Lasso, she won an award from Indonesian Music Awards (AMI) for "Best Pop Collaboration".

Bunga released her second studio album in 2008 entitled "Tentang Kamu". The album produced her successful singles, "Tentang Kamu" and "Pernah Muda". In the same year she also starred in 2 films entitled Ada Kamu, Aku Ada and Saus Kacang with her husband, Ashraf Sinclair.
